Our Mission
To keep the names of military and first responder Heroes who sacrificed everything in service to their country and fellow service members alive.
Linda Ellis’ poem, The Dash Between, reminds us that we can only control the time between our arrival and departure from this world. For our Heroes, neither they nor their Dash should ever be forgotten.
We do this by continuing their legacy of giving. We provide supplies, such as blankets, quilts, small furnishings, home-cooked meals, and food to those going through difficult times. Perhaps they are survivors, have experienced hardship, or are infirm, homeless, or simply in need. Each delivery includes a token showing a fallen hero's name, birthdate, and death date.
We want everyone to remember the true cost paid by those many who gave everything while enlisted to protect us.
Heroes Then
Maybe our Hero was on patrol and was ambushed. Maybe our Hero was saving a fellow service member. Maybe we’ll never really know what our Hero was doing or where our Hero was doing it. Maybe our Hero did not come back the way our Hero left. Whatever the reason, our Hero died protecting our faith, country, and family.
Heroes Now
We wake up daily with the ability to do, believe, and say virtually anything we want. We can succeed, grow, and become who we were created to be. We can do this because of our Heroes and many like them.
Heroes Forever
It may be a street sign, a painting, a family story, a building, a plaque, or maybe a headstone or other memorial of where our Hero’s body was laid. Our Hero did their job, and it is ours to always remember, honor, and celebrate them.
